A pioneer in hybrid technology, Toyota are paving the way to an emission free future for automotive brands; but being a leader in technological progressions comes with its challenges. Faced with the task of teaching customers in dealerships about progressive hybrid technology, Toyota asked us to come up with a simple yet innovative solution.

Combining Augmented Reality technology with object recognition, the Toyota AR app overlays an interactive 3D model onto a production vehicle. From this, customers can interact with hotspots and view how the hybrid drivetrain reacts as the car accelerates and decelerates.

By embracing innovative technology our app provided a clear way of communicating complex technological information whilst also providing dealers with a unique way of engaging with potential customers.
