Role overview

We are looking for a Digital Strategist to join our growing team in the UK. Working with other strategists, data analysts and UX consultants, the Digital Strategist will utilise consumer data and insights to identify new growth opportunities for our clients whilst also driving forward greater customer experiences through digital channels.

Understanding and shaping user behaviour for our clients is at the heart of everything we do. Brandwidth’s Strategy team is dedicated to obtaining an accurate understanding of business and user needs to create a plan of action, designed to achieve defined goals and measurable change.

You will have logical skills alongside the ability to translate user insights into actionable strategies. With experience staying up to date with industry trends, you will be positive in developing digital content strategies guided by data for clients – utilising web, social, email and other touchpoints for customer experiences. As a result of current client developments, an interest or experience in user research methods and/or UX strategy would be favourable.

 

Skills/Responsibilities

As a Digital Strategist at Brandwidth, you will:

  • Provide the strategic bridge between our teams and clients, including other client marketing agencies and our other wholly owned digital agencies.
  • Deliver market-leading experience for the customer journey across the different digital channels.
  • Interpret statistical information to advise strategically on UX and content improvements on client web/app platforms.
  • Lead internal presentations where digital strategy is being discussed and assist with communication to partners where analytical or research-driven insight is needed.
  • Oversee optimisation directives e.g. A/B testing programmes.
  • Selling in iterative research activities and advocating for a culture of continued learning and improvement.
  • Establish credibility both internally and externally through your knowledge and approach.

You will bring:

  • Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in digital marketing/user research / UX/CX
  • Experience creating and directing multi-channel strategies for clients that encompass always-on content and communications.
  • Great at relationship management, organisational and project management skills.
  • Great social, efficient skills in communication, time allocation, and influencing. – comfortable liaising directly with clients.
  • Clear passion for digital technology and the use of strategy to guide digital transformation.
  • Experience with customer journey optimisation across all digital channels.
  • Experience in user research methodologies (interviews/focus groups/surveys/heat mapping) would be advantageous.
  • Experience in predictive analytics including A/B testing and Multivariate Testing (MVT) would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of UX strategy best practices and implementation would also be advantageous.
