Spreading the word on Virtual Reality

It’s one thing to create incredible content, build robust platforms and identify new digital and creative potential, but we also travel the world telling audiences about this; enlightening and inspiring them in the process.

In 2016 alone, we have spoken at VRUK, Wearable Tech Show, Smart IoT London, ARVR Innovate, FashTech Summit, ECommerce Show, Augmented World Expo (Santa Clara), The Friday Club, Capitol Hill VR, IBC Rising Stars, FutureFest and VR World.

Experience for everyone

Now the full video is available, we thought we’d share our Head of Innovation’s talk at AWE, Santa Clara (June 2 2016), the world’s largest Conference and Expo dedicated to AR and VR.

We delivered the what, where and why of VR, highlighting the key do’s and don’ts for VR Filmmaking, Marketing, Education and Retail. Also premiering the first #StereocastVR teaser reel. Key takeaways from the talk included:

Film making – Understanding the differences between 360º monoscopic content and true VR; it’s all about presence

Marketing – VR needs to be an essential part of your marketing budget – not a separate VR budget. Return on investment can only be measured if you are telling people about it and promoting it!

Education – The opportunities for using VR in schools and education in a wider sense is huge; Promote a positive message, inspire, entertain and be memorable

Retail – Deliver unique experiences that add value and brand engagement
